Making digital transformation an emulation criterion

74 collectives and 352 individuals were rewarded

Ms. Dang Mai Phuong - Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of Co-opBank Trade Union said that in recent times, the work of caring for union members and employees has been implemented practically and effectively. In particular, the Trade Union organized visits and gave Tet gifts to cadres and union members in difficult circumstances and sick on the occasion of the Lunar New Year; supported cadres and union members in special circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses on the occasion of Workers' Month; supported cadres and union members affected by storms No. 3 (Yagi) and No. 11 (Kalmaegi); 2,138 cadres and union members participated in the "Union Meal" Program...

The cultural and spiritual life of union members continues to be implemented richly by the Union, spreading the spirit of solidarity throughout the system. In the period of 2023 - 2025, Co-opBank's sports and cultural movement has made many marks such as the Co-opBank delegation with 98 athletes attending the 1st Banking Industry Sports Festival, in 2023 won a number of impressive awards. At the same time, Co-opBank has also achieved good results in competitions such as "Green Bank for Green Life" organized by the Vietnam Banking Trade Union; Online contest "Learning about occupational safety and hygiene" ...

In the period of 2023 - 2025, 74 collectives and 352 individuals were awarded Medals, Emulation Flags, Certificates of Merit, and Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union and the Co-opBank Trade Union.

Deploying 9 key task groups

The Congress agreed to deploy 9 key groups of tasks for the 2025-2030 period. In particular, Co-opBank Trade Union focuses on strengthening political and legal propaganda; promoting emulation movements in line with the political tasks of Co-opBank and the banking industry; promoting the application of IT and proactively fighting against misinformation, creating a solid foundation for awareness; continuing to promote the role of representation, protecting the legitimate rights of workers and effectively implementing grassroots democracy regulations.

In particular, the Trade Union promotes digital transformation, making digital transformation an emulation criterion and a standard for evaluating cadres working in trade union work. Thereby promoting a modern corporate culture and building a professional working environment.

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Pham Tien Dung acknowledged and commended the excellent performance of the Co-opBank Trade Union in the period of 2020 - 2025. In particular, organize emulation movements to excellently complete professional and political tasks; care for workers' lives; and implement many effective social security activities.

SBV Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung said that the spirit of digital transformation is not only in union activities, but will be spread to expertise to create motivation for Co-opBank to develop strongly in the coming period.

In addition, the SBV Deputy Governor hopes that the Trade Union will continue to play a core role in system solidarity. Emulation movements are associated with professional tasks, serving professional tasks. At the same time, the Trade Union continues Co-opBank's noble mission of caring for the legitimate rights and interests of employees, continuing to improve the lives of employees.

At the congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the Co-opBank Trade Union, term VI, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 11 prestigious and capable comrades, representing more than 2,000 union members in the entire system.
