Gia Lai Policy Bank Trade Union innovates for development

On December 4, the Trade Union of the Gia Lai Province Branch of the Bank for Social Policies (BBSP) held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Dinh Van Nghia - Deputy Director of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies Branch was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, term I.

With the action slogan: "Solidarity - People's Power - Discipline - Innovation - Development", for the benefit of union members and workers, delegates focused on discussing and comprehensively evaluating the achieved results, pointing out the shortcomings and limitations in the activities of grassroots trade unions of the VBSP in the period of 2023-2025.

At the same time, it agreed to set many important targets to be implemented in the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, in terms of expertise, strive for 100% of poor households and other policy beneficiaries with needs and conditions to have access to social policy credit capital; outstanding loans grow by an average of 10% or more per year.

Regarding Trade Union activities, build grassroots Trade Unions that complete their tasks well or better every year, strive to have 90% of Departmental Trade Unions complete their tasks well or better every year.

During the term, 28 or more outstanding union members will be introduced for the Party Cell to train and admit into the Party.

The Congress also announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the VBSP Trade Union to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Provincial VBSP Trade Union Branch, term I, 2025-2030.

On this occasion, delegates attending the Congress raised 75.4 million VND to support people in the province to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
