The National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the implementation of salary reform
The 44th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the Government's report on the implementation of salary reform and pension adjustment.
The program is expected that the 44th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on 42 contents, with an official working time of about more than 8 days. Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired and delivered the opening speech at the meeting.
As scheduled, the first session of the 44th session will take place over 4 days (from April 14 to 17).
Here, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and approve the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units (replacing Resolution No. 35/2023/UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the period 2023-2030);
Giving opinions on the proposal: Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; establishing a draft committee to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; collecting public opinions on the draft amendment and supplement to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution;
Participating in giving opinions on the draft report on the synthesis of opinions and recommendations from voters and people sent to the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly; giving opinions on the report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' recommendations sent to the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly; reviewing the report on the National Assembly's petition work in March 2025.
In the first session, the National Assembly Standing Committee also gave its opinion on the Government's report on the implementation of salary reform, pension adjustment, social insurance benefits, preferential allowances for meritorious people and social allowances.
The second session of the session will take place over 4.5 days (from April 23 to the morning of April 28), the National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion on the Government's report on the assessment of supplementary results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2024;
The implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2025; giving opinions on the preparation for the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also gave its opinion on the report on the results of the implementation of the Supervisory Program in 2024 and the first months of 2025, and the expected Supervisory Program in 2026 of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Consider submitting to the National Assembly for decision on the establishment of the National Election Council and the election of the Chairman of the National Election Council; giving opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on tuition exemption for public preschool and primary school students from the 2025-2026 school year.
The meeting also gave opinions on adjusting the National Land Use Plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; gave opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of social housing; gave opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on reducing value added tax for the last 6 months of 2025 and the whole year 2026;
Giving opinions on draft Laws amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions; giving opinions on draft Decrees of the Government detailing Clause 2, Article 157 of the Land Law (including the content of reducing land rent in 2025); draft Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies (amended); draft Law on Enterprises (amended);
At the same time, give opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the laws: Law on Bidding; Law on Investment under the public-private partnership method; Law on Customs; Law on Export Tax, Import Tax; Law on Investment; Law on Public Investment; Law on Management and Use of Public Assets.
