Tuyen Quang discovers economic violations of over 85 billion VND after inspection

On January 12, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity of Tuyen Quang province held the 15th Session to evaluate the results of activities in 2025; identify key tasks in 2026.

In 2025, the Steering Committee has comprehensively and drastically implemented the tasks. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened.

Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels conducted inspections when there were signs of violations against 13 party organizations and 84 party members. Through inspection, 9 party organizations and 77 party members were found to have shortcomings and violations.

Discipline 4 party organizations and many party members. In which, there are many serious violations that must be handled by the form of exclusion.

The authorities have also conducted 207 inspections and examinations, thereby detecting economic violations of over VND 85.8 billion, recommending the recovery of more than VND 29.4 billion to the budget; issuing 137 decisions to sanction administrative violations.

The prosecution agencies have accepted and resolved dozens of cases with hundreds of defendants. 5.2 billion VND was recovered during the litigation stages; the rate of enforcement of judgments on money reached over 93%.

The whole province has identified 40 projects as behind schedule, 18 projects have been resolved to date, and 22 projects are continuing to be directed to be handled, striving to complete in the first quarter of 2026.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the draft summary report for 2025; Work program, Inspection and Supervision program for 2026.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh affirmed that the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity in the province has been comprehensively implemented and achieved many positive results.

The Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee also pointed out a number of causes leading to corruption and negativity in the area; predicted that the risks and developments of corruption and negativity in the coming time will continue to have many complicated factors.

The Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee requested that in 2026, the steering committee and Party committees and organizations at all levels continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints and policies, especially the direction of the General Secretary on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.

Inspection and supervision work must be focused on. After inspection, supervision must clearly identify violations that demonstrate propaganda and deterrence. Internal affairs agencies continue to review and propose cases and incidents to include them in the monitoring Steering Committee.

Focus on directing the strict handling of corruption and negative cases and incidents. Speed up the processing of projects that are behind schedule and used inefficiently.
