Lang Son - 11 Regional Project Management Boards in Lang Son were assigned to be directly under the commune level from February 1, 2026.
On January 12, the People's Committee of Lang Son province issued a Decision on transferring and renaming the Project Management Boards of the area under the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to the People's Committees at the commune level.
According to the Decision, 11 Project Management Boards of the area were transferred to the original status and renamed.
The Project Management Board of Area I was transferred to the Dong Kinh Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area II became the Dong Dang Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area III became the Loc Binh Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area IV became the Dinh Lap Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Area V becomes Chi Lang Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area VI becomes Huu Lung Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area VII becomes Na Sam Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area VIII becomes That Khe Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board;
Area IX becomes Van Quan Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area X becomes Binh Gia Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board; Area XI becomes Bac Son Commune Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The transfer is carried out according to the principle of maintaining the status quo, including the entire organization, civil servants and employees; finance, assets, offices, equipment; records, documents, accounting books and related documents.
At the same time, construction investment projects being managed and organized by the Project Management Boards of the area are also transferred to the People's Committees at the commune level for receipt.
The Provincial People's Committee requires that the handover process must be recorded in full between the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the People's Commune-level People's Committee to receive it, with confirmation from relevant agencies in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring that project management activities are not interrupted.
The decision takes effect from February 1, 2026.
