HCMC bans car lanes on Le Loi Street for 1 week
HCMC - The car on Le Loi Street (Saigon Ward) will be banned from circulation for many days to serve the Technology Exhibition and music program.
On January 6, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Ho Chi Minh City informed that from 0:00 on January 6 to 24:00 on January 12, 2026, the car lane on Le Loi Street (from Nguyen Hue Street to Pasteur, Saigon Ward) will be banned from circulation to organize a Technology Exhibition and an art music program to welcome the new year 2026.
In which, from January 6 to January 9, construction of related items will be carried out; on January 10, a program will be held; from January 11 to January 12, the site will be dismantled and cleared.
The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police Department informed that to avoid the above area, people can travel to the mixed lane of Le Loi Street or parallel routes such as Ham Nghi and Le Thanh Ton.
The routes intersecting with Le Loi Street such as Pasteur, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Phan Boi Chau are still operating normally.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that drivers reduce speed, follow instructions from authorities and traffic signaling systems when passing through the event area; do not stop or park on Le Loi Street (mixed lane) or at the beginning of intersections to watch the program, causing traffic obstruction.
Based on the actual situation, the traffic police will organize appropriate traffic flow, minimizing the impact on the travel and daily life of people in the city center.
