General Secretary To Lam sends a letter of congratulations to General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party

On the occasion of comrade Thongloun Sisoulith being re-elected as General Secretary of the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, on January 8, 2026, comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam sent a letter of congratulations to comrade Thongloun Sisoulith.

The content of the congratulatory letter is:

Dear Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith,

On the occasion of his election as General Secretary of the 12th Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, I would like to send my warmest congratulations to him. This is a worthy recognition by the Lao Party, State and People for his great contributions, intelligence and enthusiasm over the past time. The high trust of the entire Party and people in him demonstrates a firm belief in the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party on the path of building and defending the Fatherland.

I am very happy and sincerely congratulate the success of the 12th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, especially the creativity in setting out strategic vision and important goals and tasks that the Congress sets out for the long-term development of Laos in the coming time. I fully believe that under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and the important role of Comrade and Company, the entire Party and people of Laos will certainly fulfill the goals set by the 12th National Congress, building a peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Laos.
