This morning (September 9), General Secretary To Lam attended and chaired a meeting with veterans and youth volunteers participating in the resistance war against the US to save the country in Hanoi, according to VNA.
The event was held on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the complete Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Also attending were Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security; Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.




Earlier, also on the morning of April 9, the delegation of veterans and former youth volunteers who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
