On the evening of January 28, to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Uncle Ho's return to the country to directly lead the Vietnamese revolution (January 28, 1941 – January 28, 2026), the People's Committees of provinces and cities: Cao Bang, Hanoi, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with Vietnam Television to organize a special television bridge program with the theme "Two hands building a mountain and river".
Attending at the bridge point of Pac Bo Special National Relic Site (Truong Ha commune, Cao Bang province) were General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former Standing Secretaries of the Secretariat Phan Dien, Tran Quoc Vuong.

Attending at the bridge points were also leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of central and local departments, ministries, and branches; veteran revolutionaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, cadres, party members and a large number of people.
The program is organized on a large scale, with the participation of more than 800 professional and amateur actors, with Cao Bang bridge point alone having over 350 people.
The program content is built according to the mindset "from policy decisions to action, from history to era", including 3 chapters: "Hands marking the road", "People's arms" and " Raising the flag high".
Chapter 1 recreates the moment President Ho Chi Minh returned to the Fatherland in early 1941, choosing Cao Bang as a revolutionary base, showing his strategic vision and leadership bravery.

Chapter 2 highlights the lesson of taking the people as the root, the strength of great national unity, from building bases, developing forces to the victory of the August Revolution in 1945.
Chapter 3 affirms the era value of the strategic decisions of 1941, related to the requirements of national development in the new period.
Throughout the program is the image of "hands" - symbolizing the journey to find a way to save the country, return to the Fatherland, lead the revolution and the continuation of today's generations in the cause of building and developing the country.

The art performances are elaborately staged, combining traditional and contemporary music, harmonizing regional folk materials.
Speaking at the Cao Bang bridge point, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the program is an event of profound political, historical and cultural significance; an opportunity to commemorate and express gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions, and at the same time remind the responsibility of each cadre, party member and people before the Party, before the people and the future of the country.

The General Secretary affirmed that the event of Uncle Ho returning home was not only a geographical return, but a return to the people, to the path of independence and self-reliance of the Vietnamese revolution; thereby forming strategic decisions leading to the victory of the August Revolution in 1945, the birth of the Vietnamese State of the people, by the people and for the people.
Lessons on self-reliance and self-strengthening; relying on the people; combining national strength with the strength of the times continue to maintain their value in the context of a rapidly changing world and fierce strategic competition today.
The General Secretary emphasized the requirement to strongly shift from political determination to specific actions, from orientation to practical results, with the goal of improving people's lives, narrowing the development gap between regions, especially revolutionary base areas, border areas, and ethnic minority areas.
In the afternoon of the same day, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Temple, Pac Bo Special National Relic Site and visited Coc Po Cave - where Uncle Ho returned to the country to lead the revolution.
