Progress of site clearance for Tu Lien bridge construction
Hanoi - Tay Ho District and Dong Anh District are reviewing the total area of land to be recovered to serve the implementation of the Tu Lien Bridge project.
Recently, the City People's Committee sent an official dispatch to the Prime Minister proposing to start the investment project to build Tu Lien Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge on May 19 on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1809 - May 19, 2025).
According to Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, with the important political significance in developing key transport infrastructure, socio-economic development, ensuring the growth target of the whole country and the city, the early implementation of investment in the construction of 3 large bridge projects across the Red River (including Tu Lien Bridge) is very urgent.
Tu Lien Bridge across the Red River, when completed, will solve an important traffic bottleneck to connect the center of Hanoi with the National Exhibition Center (expected to be completed in 2025) and is also a part of the overall project of the entire route connecting Gia Binh Airport, Bac Ninh Province with Hanoi Capital.
Regarding site clearance to implement the Tu Lien bridge construction project, on April 14, speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Tay Ho District Investment and Construction Project Management Board (DTXD) said that the unit has developed a detailed plan to implement site clearance in the district.
"We have requested the three wards of Yen Phu, Quang An and Tu Lien to have specific reports on land types, users, resettlement requests, etc. In addition, the unit closely follows information from departments and branches to grasp information about land records" - a representative of the Construction Investment Project Management Board (DTXD) informed.
Currently, Tay Ho district has completed the review of the total land area to be recovered in all 3 wards: Yen Phu, Quang An and Tu Lien. The total area of recovered land and cleared land is expected to be about 266,524.1m2.
Of which, residential land is 18,624.8 m2, agricultural land is 118,065.0 m2, land managed by the People's Committees of wards (river bank land, water surface, traffic land) is 129,883.3 m2.
The total number of cases of land acquisition is 327 households with residential land and 270 agricultural plots. Proposed resettlement of 215 apartments. The total cost of site clearance is VND2,910 billion.
Regarding site clearance in Dong Anh district, in an interview with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung - Chairman of the District People's Committee - said that the district has reviewed the land area to be recovered to implement the construction of Tu Lien bridge.
"We are still ensuring the progress assigned by the city" - Mr. Dung informed.
The Tu Lien Bridge project starts at the intersection with Nghi Tam Street, Tay Ho District; the end point is at the intersection with TC13 Axis, Dong Anh District, with a total length of about 3km.
Tu Lien Bridge has a typical cross-section of 43-44m (including 6 lanes for motor vehicles and mixed lanes, separated, sidewalks...).
The road south of the bridge has a typical cross-section of 48m (including an approach bridge in the middle, a parallel urban service road and sidewalks on both sides of the road).
The road north of the bridge has a typical cross-section of 60m (determined in the plan dossier, the location of the road connecting Tu Lien bridge to the new National Highway 3, at a scale of 1/500 approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 6381/QD-UBND dated December 11, 2024).
The total preliminary investment of the project is VND 20,171 billion. The project will be implemented in the period of 2025 - 2027.
