Prime Minister inspects preparations for the 11th Patriotic Emulation Congress

On December 26, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the preparation for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress taking place from December 26-27 at the National Convention Center (My Dinh, Hanoi).

Accompanying him were members of the Party Central Committee: Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra; Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; leaders of ministries, departments and branches.

At the inspection, the Prime Minister spent time reviewing and evaluating the overall design and decoration of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress and the exhibition area introducing the country's outstanding socio-economic achievements after 40 years of Doi Moi.

The 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress is not only an occasion to honor advanced models but also an opportunity to summarize the exciting emulation journey, expressing the will and aspiration of the whole nation.

More importantly, the organization of this Congress needs to be considered a "general approval", a model to learn from experience, preparing for the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress has the theme "Emulation for innovation, creativity, accelerating breakthroughs to bring the country into an era of strong, civilized and prosperous development".

The total number of delegates attending the 11th National Emulation Congress is 2,223, including 198 invited delegates and 2,025 official delegates; established into 105 Delegations.

In the 2,025 official delegates, there are individual heroes, representatives of collectives of Heroes, Emulation Fighters nationwide and advanced models who have been awarded and honored since the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The oldest delegate is Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, 98 years old, Hero of Labor, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The 5 youngest delegates are 11 years old.

The 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress is tasked with summarizing emulation movements and reward work for the period 2021-2025; honoring and commending outstanding individuals and groups in patriotic emulation movements and setting out directions and tasks to continue innovating emulation and reward work in the next 5 years.

Thereby creating momentum and motivation to contribute to the successful implementation of the task of socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security for the 2026-2030 period in the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, bringing our country into a new era - the era of national development, prosperity and prosperity.
