The Border Guard Command (BDBP) introduced Major General Vo Tien Nghi - Deputy Commander of the Border Guard - as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly.

On January 16, the Border Guard Command held a conference to collect voters' opinions at the workplace on those who are expected to nominate candidates for the 16th National Assembly.

At the conference, voters under the Border Guard Command were thoroughly informed about the process and procedures for introducing personnel to run for National Assembly deputies; the standards for 16th National Assembly deputies; and listened to the introduction of the list of personnel recommended for candidates, Major General Vo Tien Nghi, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard.

Based on the comments and assessments at the conference, voters unanimously determined that Major General Vo Tien Nghi is a personnel who meets all the prescribed standards for National Assembly deputies.
