Thai Nguyen plans to have 55 communes and wards after the reorganization
Thai Nguyen - According to the plan, the province will reduce from 172 to 55 commune-level administrative units after the arrangement.
On the afternoon of April 14, the 95th Conference of the Standing Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, term XX, term 2020 - 2025, took place.
At the conference, the plan to reduce about 68% of commune-level administrative units (from 172 to 55) after the arrangement was discussed and received high consensus from delegates.
Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung emphasized the great goal and significance of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and organizing local governments at both levels according to the policies and direction of the Central Government.
The rearrangement and reorganization of administrative units is a political task and command with the ultimate goal of serving the people, for the development of the country. The implementation process needs to propagate and mobilize people to understand and support the policy.
The Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary requested leaders of departments, branches and localities to continue researching, listening to analysis, participating in giving opinions and proposing solutions based on science, in accordance with reality. Drafting agencies received comments from delegates, closely following the Central's instructions to complete the arrangement plan to ensure methodical and scientific.
