Dak Lak Department of Finance ranked at the bottom of the table for handling administrative procedures
Dak Lak - The Department of Finance ranked last in the results of the assessment of the quality of handling administrative procedures.
On January 8, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee announced that it had issued a classification and assessment table for the quality of administrative procedure settlement according to the "one-stop, one-stop-shop" mechanism for departments, branches and sectors in the province in 2025.
The classification table includes 14 units. The leading units are: Provincial People's Committee Office (96 points), Department of Home Affairs (95.35 points) and Department of Justice (95.31 points). The Department of Finance ranked bottom of the table with 87.71 points.
This classification table is of great significance in improving the quality of service for people and businesses; creating motivation for administrative reform, increasing publicity, transparency and being one of the bases for rewarding or disciplining cadres and civil servants.
The assessment criteria focus on factors such as digital records, level of online public service provision, progress of records settlement, implementation results and level of people's satisfaction.
Previously, in the 2025 index for people and businesses of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Finance also ranked at the bottom of the table (out of a total of 14 units) with 87.03 points.

On the same day, the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province said that it had sent a document to the Provincial People's Committee on the appraisal, evaluation and classification of quality for agencies, collectives and individuals leading and managing under the Provincial People's Committee in 2025.
According to the self-assessment results, the Department of Finance is classified as "complete the task well"; the Department of Home Affairs' proposal for this unit is also at the same level.
Director of the Department of Finance Tran Van Tan and the entire Board of Directors, consisting of 9 people (1 director, 8 deputy directors) all admitted and were proposed to be classified as "completing tasks well" in 2025.
In 2025, the Department of Finance will play a core role in advising on the disbursement of public investment capital and national target programs.
However, the province's disbursement progress did not reach the plan: by December 28, 2025, the disbursement of the plan extended from 2024 will only reach 54.4%, while the disbursement plan for 2025 will reach 49%.
The consultation progress of some major projects is still slow, affecting the investment environment and competitiveness of the locality. In December 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee criticized the Director of the Department of Finance for being slow in consulting and reporting.
The source said that after receiving the submission from the Department of Home Affairs, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee will meet, review and appraise before making an official assessment.
