Dak Lak establishes 3 interdisciplinary teams to inspect food safety during Tet
Dak Lak - Provincial authorities will strengthen food safety inspection during the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
On January 7, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that the unit had just issued a plan to implement food safety assurance work during the Lunar New Year and the 2026 Spring Festival.
According to the plan, the Provincial People's Committee will establish 3 interdisciplinary inspection teams on food safety chaired by the Departments of Health, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, conducting inspections in 12 communes and wards.
In the locality, communes and wards will also establish interdisciplinary inspection teams on food safety to organize inspections in the area.
This activity aims to ensure food safety during the production, processing, trading and use of food; strengthen control and promptly prevent the production and trading of fake and poor quality food; ensure safe food consumption in the market; prevent and combat food poisoning during the Lunar New Year and the 2026 Spring Festival.
Thereby, minimizing food poisoning cases during the Lunar New Year and the 2026 Spring Festival. Interdisciplinary inspection work has been strengthened from the provincial to the commune and ward levels, focusing on groups of products consumed heavily during Tet and festivals, with high risk factors.
In addition, the Dak Lak Provincial Market Management Department will coordinate with relevant units to strengthen inspections and strictly handle cases of trading and transporting goods of unknown origin.
