Dak Lak - Bus stations and transportation businesses have increased vehicles, arranged personnel and tightened traffic safety, ensuring to serve the increased travel demand during Tet.

On January 6, information from the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Construction said that in order to serve the travel needs of people during the Lunar New Year and Spring Festival 2026, the unit has issued a plan requiring transportation businesses to proactively arrange spare vehicles and promptly evacuate passengers when vehicles have problems or accidents on the journey.

Units must ensure enough drivers on the routes, maintain smooth operations; strengthen inspection and handling of vehicles that do not ensure traffic safety; do not arbitrarily increase ticket prices and transportation fees without approval from competent authorities.

The traffic safety department of the enterprise must closely monitor the driver and vehicles through the journey monitoring system.

In the western part of the province, since the beginning of January 2026, bus stations and transportation businesses have developed a plan to serve passengers during the peak of the Lunar New Year.

Vehicles and personnel are fully prepared to meet increased travel needs; key routes all have plans to add reserve vehicles.

For example, Krong Ana Bus Station currently operates 13 inter-provincial routes with 35 sleeper buses, connecting to Hung Yen, Da Nang, Hue City, Quang Tri, Nha Trang, Lam Dong and Ho Chi Minh City.

To serve Tet, the station requires vehicle owners to sign a commitment not to carry more people than the prescribed number, maintain vehicles, and ensure safety for passengers.

Mr. Hoang Thanh - Director of the bus station said that the station considers safety as a top priority. The team of drivers and service staff was strictly controlled; 100% of drivers had periodic health check-ups and signed labor contracts.

For a journey of over 300km, each vehicle must have at least 2 drivers and 1 bus assistant to ensure the driver's health and maintain alertness throughout the journey.
