The meaning of Da Nang soldiers building new houses for Dak Lak people

On January 4, the Military Command of Da Nang City completed and handed over a house to Mr. Trinh Tan's household, residing in Dong Hoa ward, Dak Lak province. This is the first house to be inaugurated and handed over among the 7 houses in Dak Lak province that Military Region 5 assigned to the Da Nang City Military Command to directly undertake the construction of new ones.

Visiting, encouraging and directly handing over the house to the family, Colonel Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Da Nang Military Command, visited and shared the difficulties the family has gone through due to natural disasters; at the same time, he hoped the family would soon stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind, and produce in a new, spacious and solid house.

Mr. Tan's house was built on old land, with an area of 6.5x14m, with a total support of 170 million VND from the State budget, combined with 100 million VND from the family's savings. The Da Nang Military Command supports all labor, main materials such as construction bricks and directly organizes the construction. The project started on December 3, 2025 and was completed 11 days ahead of schedule, ensuring requirements for technical quality, aesthetics and safety.

At the handover ceremony, Military Region 5 presented the family with a bed and an electric rice cooker; The Da Nang Military Command presented additional essential household items including fans and wardrobes, contributing to helping the family stabilize their initial activities.

Currently, 275 houses in Da Nang city and the remaining houses in Dak Lak province are being constructed day and night by officers and soldiers of the City Military Command, racing against time, determined to complete and hand over on schedule and exceed the set schedule, so that people can soon stabilize their lives and celebrate the Lunar New Year with peace of mind in new, spacious and solid houses.
