Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang and City Social Insurance sign cooperation agreement

News from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City on January 3 said: The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City and the City Social Insurance (VSS) held a signing ceremony for the Coordination Program on the implementation of social insurance and health insurance work for the period 2025-2030.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; Mr. Nguyen Tri Dai - Director of the city Social Insurance, and representatives of the leaders and staff of the professional departments of the two units.

According to the signed program, the two units agreed to strengthen coordination in propagating and mobilizing people to implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws on social insurance and health insurance.

Promote the socialization of resources to award social insurance books and health insurance cards to people with low incomes and people in difficult circumstances, contributing to the implementation of the roadmap for social insurance and health insurance coverage for all people.

Build and replicate effective and sustainable mobilization models to attract union members, association members and people to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance.

Coordinate the implementation of inspection, supervision, and social criticism, promptly review and propose amendments and supplements to relevant regulations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tri Dai - Director of Da Nang City Social Insurance informed the general results of the activities of the social insurance sector and the results of coordination between social insurance and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in the past year.

Mr. Nguyen Tri Dai expressed his hope that the two units will continue to closely coordinate and synchronously implement the program contents, improve the quality and effectiveness of implementing social insurance and health insurance policies in the city in the following years.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City proposed that each year the two units coordinate to develop a plan to specify the coordination program, focus on organizing training for the team of cadres working at the Front, limiting the giving of social insurance books and health insurance cards to target groups, and strengthening supervision and criticism of related policies.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong pledged that the City Fatherland Front will coordinate with the City Social Insurance to direct socio-political organizations and the Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards to effectively implement the program, aiming at the goal of covering social insurance and health insurance for all people, contributing to improving the quality of life of the people, successfully implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the 1st City Party Congress.
