The 358 billion VND bridge connecting Bac Ninh - Bac Giang is about to open to traffic
Bac Ninh - The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on coordinating the organization of the opening ceremony of Ha Bac 2 bridge and access road.
Official dispatch sent to the Department of Construction and the Management Board of Civil and Urban Development Projects.
Accordingly, in order to respond to and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Management Board of Civil and Urban Development Projects to inspect and urge the completion progress of the access road project, contact the Department of Construction and relevant agencies and units of Bac Giang province.
At the same time, advise and propose a plan to organize the opening ceremony of Ha Bac 2 bridge and access road (expected to be held on April 26, 2025); report to the People's Committees of the two provinces before April 15, 2025 to agree on the organization and implementation.
The Ha Bac 2 road and bridge construction project, connecting the branch line 2 of Ring Road IV in Bac Giang province with Yen Phong Industrial Park and National Highway 18, is located in Bac Ninh province.
The project has a total investment of more than 358 billion VND. The length is about 2 km. The road in Bac Giang is about 1.3 km long, the bridge project is nearly 500 m long. The road in Bac Ninh is more than 101 m long.
Starting point Km0+00 (intersecting with Ring Road IV at Km 11+00 in Dong Lo commune, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province) forms an intersection with Ring Road IV; the end point Km2+00 in Dung Liet commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province connects to the DT.277B road construction project.
At the press conference to inform about the results of the implementation of the socio-economic tasks of Bac Giang province in the first quarter of 2025 on the morning of April 11, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Giang province - said that the Standing Committees of the Bac Giang and Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committees had a meeting to discuss the merger of the two provinces.
Also according to the leader of the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Giang province, the Standing Committees of the Bac Giang and Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committees have agreed to establish working groups to serve the implementation of the merger of the two provinces, including reviewing policies, facilities, and officials of the two provinces.
Recently, the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Giang has advised the Provincial Party Committee to establish a Steering Committee, and develop a plan with specific timelines.
In particular, the deadline for submitting documents on the arrangement of provincial administrative units is before January 1 and the time to collect voters' opinions on April 20.
