Long Thanh Airport has 8 connecting transport projects in Dong Nai under implementation

On January 6, leaders of Dong Nai province worked on the progress of implementing transport infrastructure projects connecting to Long Thanh airport.

To serve traffic connection with Long Thanh airport in Dong Nai province, there are 8 investment projects to build routes being implemented.

Currently, there are 4 projects that have been implemented, including: Component 1 project - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project; Component 3 project - Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project; Provincial Road Upgrade Project 25B (from the center of Nhon Trach commune to National Highway 51) and Provincial Road Construction Project 25C from National Highway 51 to National Highway 19, phase 1).

The remaining projects include: upgrading and expanding provincial routes 769, 773 and investing in the construction of provincial routes 770B, 769E that are in the process of implementing investment procedures.

According to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board: Component Project 3 - Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project reached more than 63% of the contract value. Component 1 project - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project reached 66%; Provincial Road Upgrade Project 25B reached nearly 29%; Provincial Road Construction Project 25C's construction value is currently only 0.5% (due to not yet handed over the site).

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut requested the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to closely coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and branches to promptly remove obstacles in site clearance. At the same time, a specific construction plan will be prepared for each project.

Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee also said: Subject problems must be completely resolved in January 2026. At the same time, speed up the progress of projects, complete construction and put into operation in June 2026, meeting the goal of connecting and serving the exploitation of Long Thanh Airport when put into commercial operation.
