On December 29, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board said: For the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 1 project, the Board is directing the contractor to speed up the progress, striving to open technical traffic before the Lunar New Year 2026.
Component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project Phase 1 has a total length of 16km. The beginning of the route connects with the National Highway 1 bypass, Dong Nai province ( Vo Nguyen Giap street), the end point is in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province.
Component project 1 has a total investment of about 6,012 billion VND. The project implementation period is from 2022, basically completed in 2025 and completed and put into synchronous operation for the entire project in 2026.
The Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board also recommends that mine management units and mines support and increase the time for exploitation, processing and supplying materials, arrange means and labor reasonably, not including holidays, days off, and nights, to meet the requirements of continuous material supply for the construction site; organize production in the spirit of "3 shifts, 4 teams", speed up exploitation, processing, and transportation productivity to ensure the contractor's construction progress.

The entire 54km long Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway is divided into 3 component projects. Of which, the section passing through Dong Nai province is about 34km long (including component projects 1 and 2) and the section passing through Ho Chi Minh City (component project 3).
Currently, the Component Project 3 through Ho Chi Minh City has been technically opened to traffic. As for Component Project 2, the 18km long section, invested by Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction), has now connected to Component Project 3 through Ho Chi Minh City. Contractors are implementing many phases of road surface construction, installing median strips, reinforcing roadbeds; speeding up the construction progress of Tan Hiep intersections, the intersection connecting Long Thanh airport and the intersection with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.

Currently, the main expressway section of the project has basically completed the asphalt concrete pavement, contractors have accelerated the construction progress of items, including installing a reflective grid system of expressway median strip and signs.
When completed, Component Project 3 will connect with Component Project 1A of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, which will be put into operation from August 2025. From there, a traffic axis will be formed connecting Dong Nai province, Long Thanh airport with Ho Chi Minh City.

This project is 6.4km long, the starting point of the project intersects with Hung Vuong Street, the end point of the project intersects with Nguyen Huu Canh Street, invested in construction with a 61m wide roadbed. The total investment of the project is nearly 1,300 billion VND. This is a section of provincial road 25C that plays an important role in connecting Long Thanh airport with Ho Chi Minh City via Cat Lai bridge. The Provincial Road 25C Project (from National Highway 51 to Huong Lo 19) is scheduled to be completed for technical traffic before March 2026.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Road 25B Upgrade Project with a length of more than 9.2km, with a total investment of nearly VND1,500 billion, from the center of Nhon Trach to National Highway 51 is speeding up progress.
