Diversifying traffic to serve people to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum
Hanoi The Department of Construction has just issued guidelines on traffic organization and arranging parking lots to serve people at Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.
In order to ensure security, order, traffic safety, reduce congestion and meet the increasing demand for parking, the Hanoi Department of Construction issued Notice No. 432/TB-SXD dated April 22, 2025, clearly stating the traffic organization plan and location of parking lots around the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area.
Traffic organization on routes around Lang Bac area:
Hoang Hoa Tham Street and Ngoc Ha Street: Passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except for buses and vehicles of the armed forces) are prohibited from circulating on Hoang Hoa Tham Street (from Mai Xuan Thuong to Ngoc Ha Street) and Ngoc Ha Street (from Hoang Hoa Tham to Le Hong Phong).
Vehicle traffic flow: Passenger cars with 16 seats or more are guided to travel according to the route: Mai Xuan Thuong - Hoang Hoa Tham - Hung Vuong - Hoang Van Thu - Doc Lap - Chu Van An - Le Hong Phong - Ngoc Ha - Hoang Hoa Tham.
Le Hong Phong Street: Prohibit cars with more than 16 seats from turning around at the Ngoc Ha - Le Hong Phong intersection.
Arrange parking lots to serve people and international visitors: Areas planned as parking lots include: Ho Chi Minh Museum grounds; Bach Thao Park; Ngoc Ha slope; Thang Long Imperial Citadel grounds; Yen Phu and Nghi Tam streets; Quan Ngua Stadium; Van Cao Street
Coordinate traffic organization: The Department of Construction requested the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command to preside over and coordinate in providing information about the groups of visitors (number, types of vehicles, inspection time, etc.) to the Guard Command, the Mausoleum Management Board, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police, the Inspectorate of the Department of Construction and units operating the parking lot to organize guidance and coordination on traffic flow.
Ensuring traffic order: The Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police will deploy forces to regulate and guide passenger cars from pick-up and drop-off points to the planned parking area. At the same time, strengthen patrols, control, and strictly handle violations such as stopping and parking in violation of regulations, picking up and dropping off passengers in the wrong place and acts that cause unsafe traffic in the area.
