The intersection connecting Nhon Trach Bridge with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway is about to be completed
In order to ensure connection with Nhon Trach Bridge on April 30, the construction of the Ring Road 3 intersection connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is being accelerated.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board), the Ring Road 3 project has 10 interconnecting intersections and areas for highway entrance and exit. Of which, the intersection with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is one of the largest intersections under the project, which will be completed on April 30.
According to the reporter's records at the intersection, workers and equipment are concentrating on guarding the girders, making bridge deck and roadbed.

The Traffic Department is coordinating with the My Thuan Project Management Board (investor of Nhon Trach Bridge) to speed up the progress, ensuring the completion and connection of the project on April 30.
At the Ring Road 3 intersection connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway, the section passing through the old District 9, the branches have taken shape. A branch helps vehicles from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai access the access road to Nhon Trach Bridge. The remaining branch connects Nhon Trach Bridge with the expressway, facilitating traffic between Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau, reducing the load on Long Thanh Bridge.

According to the Traffic Department, on April 30, 2025, items under the XL1 package (asspects of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway intersection) will be completed, ensuring synchronous connection with the Nhon Trach bridge construction package and the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway. When the project comes into operation, the congestion on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway will improve.

The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project is 76.34 km long, passing through Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An, with a total investment of more than VND 75,300 billion. The entire route is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, of which the about 15 km long overpass section through Thu Duc City will be completed by the end of 2025.
