Nha Trang launches fire prevention and fighting inspection on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2026
Khanh Hoa - Authorities in Nha Trang have launched a campaign to inspect the fire prevention, fighting and rescue conditions (PCCC and CNCH) of business establishments.
On January 6, the People's Committee of Nha Trang Ward (Khanh Hoa Province) coordinated with functional forces to deploy a peak period of inspection of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue (PCCC and CNCH) conditions for business establishments in the area.
The purpose of the plan is to ensure safety during the Lunar New Year 2026.
According to the People's Committee of Nha Trang Ward, there are currently 1,653 facilities under the management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue in the area that have been updated on the fire prevention and fighting database system.
After implementing the merger of administrative boundaries and operating the two-level local government model, the Ward People's Committee issued many directives and plans to strengthen fire prevention and fighting and rescue work, and at the same time organized safety inspections at a number of business establishments.
However, recently, there have been a number of fires in the ward, causing property damage, showing that the risk of fire and explosion is still tiem nang, especially during the peak period at the end of the year and the Lunar New Year.
To proactively prevent, Vice Chairman of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee Le Tien Vinh assigned the Ward Police to urgently develop an inspection plan, and at the same time establish and complete two interdisciplinary inspection teams on fire prevention and fighting and rescue.
Relevant departments, offices and units are required to strengthen propaganda work, instruct businesses to strictly implement regulations, standards and regulations on fire prevention and fighting; promptly detect and overcome shortcomings and violations to limit the risk of fire and explosion.
According to the plan, this week, Nha Trang ward will conduct an inspection of fire prevention and fighting and rescue conditions for businesses under its management, focusing on industries with high risk of fire and explosion, crowded areas, to ensure safety for people and tourists during Tet.
Ms. Tran Thi Mai, owner of a food service business in Nha Trang ward, said that the establishment fully supports the plan to inspect fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue conditions of the ward People's Committee during the peak season at the end of the year.
" Periodic inspections, especially during Tet, are very necessary because the number of visitors is increasing, and the risk of fire and explosion is also greater.
Through inspections, businesses like us are promptly reminded of the remaining shortcomings to proactively overcome them, thereby ensuring the safety of customers, employees and the owners of the businesses, Ms. Mai shared.
