Completing the personnel of the Commune-level Military Command in a series of localities
The personnel of the Commune-level Military Command in many localities have been improved in recent days.
On January 12, according to information from the Government's Electronic Information Portal, the Ministry of Justice is currently reviewing the Draft Resolution dossier of the Government on the organization and operation of the Military Command of communes, wards and special zones.
The Ministry of National Defense will then absorb the opinions for appraisal, thorough review, and complete the draft Resolution to submit to the Government for consideration and decision.
The draft Resolution was developed to arrange the Military Command (MCS) at the commune level in accordance with the political system, the viewpoint of the guiding guidelines for national defense and people's war.
The Military Command at the commune level has legal status, its own seal, account, headquarters and performs a number of tasks such as: Training, combat readiness; building forces; building and operating defense areas...
Also according to the Government Electronic Information Portal, in recent days, a series of localities have urgently improved the personnel of the Military Command at the commune level.
In particular, the Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command will carry out the selection and appointment of positions of the Commune-level Military Command in accordance with the staffing regulations and Conclusion No. 164-KL/TW dated June 6, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat.
Conduct a review and fully prepare appointment procedures to ensure compliance with conditions and standards according to the provisions of the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces No. 48/2019/QH14, amended and supplemented in Law No. 98/2025/QH15.
The Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command established a Steering Committee and a standing agency to urgently develop a Project for personnel of the Commune-level Military Command to ensure reasonable standards, conditions, and structure, close to the characteristics and practical situation of each locality.
During the implementation process, the work of reviewing and evaluating cadres was carried out carefully, objectively and comprehensively, ensuring that there were no gaps in qualified cadres with capacity and qualities, meeting the requirements of the tasks.
The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has also just requested to urgently complete the number of cadres of the Military Command at the commune level.
Accordingly, the Provincial Military Party Committee and Party Committees of communes and wards are required to base on Conclusion No. 228 dated December 31, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the situation and results of the operation of the political system and local government at both levels and the regulations and instructions of the Central Government, urgently completing the number of cadres of the Military Command at the commune level.
Review the number of Commune-level Military Commanders appointed according to Conclusion No. 164, dated June 6, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat to implement the completion of standards and university qualifications in the military major, high-level political theory and position planning for the 2025-2030 term.
Most recently, on January 12, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee organized the announcement and awarding of decisions to appoint 95 regular military officers as Commanders of the Military Commands of communes and wards.
These are regular military officers appointed to the position of Commander of the Military Commands of communes and wards of Dong Nai province, replacing 95 Commanders of the Military Commands at the commune level who have just been dismissed from their positions.
