On December 14, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung visited and worked at Giang Thanh main border gate and Giang Thanh Border Guard Station.

Lieutenant Colonel Ha Duc Hanh - Head of the Giang Thanh Border Guard Station said that the unit manages a border section of over 12km long from mark 293/3 + 34m to mark 302/7, in Giang Thanh commune, An Giang province. Maintain strict implementation of 3 checkpoints, 1 working group to prevent and combat illegal entry and exit, prevent smuggling, block and protect the border 24/7, strictly inspect and control people and vehicles entering and leaving the border area and border belt.

The unit closely coordinates with local Party committees, authorities, departments, and unions to propagate and mobilize people in the area to properly implement border regulations; mobilize people not to participate in or assist in smuggling, trade fraud, and transportation of prohibited goods across the border; organize illegal entry and exit for others...

Regarding the development and implementation of the 2025 border gate work plan, Giang Thanh Border Gate Border Guard Station has organized the dissemination and seriously implemented the above directives and instructions on border procedures at the border gate.
