At the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on a state visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from April 14 to 15, 2025.

According to VNA, the delegation included comrades: Thai Ky, Politburo Standing Member, Secretary of the Secretariat, Chief of the Central Office; Vuong Nghi, Politburo member, Director of the Office of the Central External Relations Commission, Minister of Foreign Affairs;

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping was born in June 1953; hometown: Phu Binh, Xi'an Tay (China).

Comrade Xi Jinping joined the Communist Party of China in January 7. He was a graduate student majoring in Marxism Theory and Political ideology Education, Academy of Humanities and Social Affairs, Tsinghua University; has a degree in Chemical Engineering; PhD in Law.

Comrade Tap Can Binh has gone through many studies and held many working positions.

From 1969-2055, he was a Youth intellectual, Secretary of the Party Cell at Luong Gia Ha Company, Van An Dich Commune, Dien Xuyen District, Thieu Tay Province;

During the period of 1975-1979 he majored in Comprehensive Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, Tsinghua University, Beijing; 1979-82: was Secretary of the National Institute Office, Central Military Commission Office; 1982-83: Deputy Secretary of Chinh Dinh District Party Committee, Ha Bac Province;

period 1983-1985: Secretary of the Chinh Dinh District Party Committee, Ha Bac province, concurrently the first Political Commissar, First Secretary of the Party Committee of the Armed Forces Committee, Chinh Dinh district, Ha Bac province; 1985-1988: Standing member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman (Vice Chairman of the People's Committee) of Ha Mon city, Phuc Kien province;

From 1996-1999, he was Deputy Secretary of the Phuc Kien Provincial Party Committee; 1999 2000: Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Acting Provincial Governor (Chairman of the People's Committee) of Phuc Kien province; Deputy Chairman of the Nam Kinh Military Region National Defense Encouragement Committee and Chairman of the Phuc Kien Provincial National Defense Encouragement Committee;

2000-2002: Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Governor of Fujian Province; Deputy Head of the Committee for National Defense Mobilization of the Nanjing Military Region and Chairman of the Committee for National Defense Mobilization of Fujian Province (from 1998-2002 studied as a doctoral student at the position of Marxist Theory and Political ideology Education, Academy of Humanities and Social Affairs, Tsinghua University, and won a PhD in Law.

From 2002-2002, he was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Acting Provincial Chief of the Provincial Party Committee, concurrently Chairman of the Provincial Defense Encouragement Committee of Zhejiang province; 2002-2003: Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Chief of the Provincial Military Region Party Committee and First Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Military Region, Deputy Chairman of the Nam Kinh Military Region Defense Encouragement Committee, Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Defense Encouragement Committee;

From 2003-2007: Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Committee of Zhejiang Province, concurrently First Secretary of the Party Committee of the Military Region of Zhejiang Province; 2007-2007: Secretary of the Shanghai City Party Committee, concurrently First Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai City Border Guard Station; 2007-2008: Standing member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Secretariat, Principal of the Central Party School.

From 2008-2010, he was a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Secretariat, Vice President of the People's Republic of China, Principal of the Central Party School;

2010-2012: Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Secretariat; Vice President of the People's Republic of China; Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China (State Military Commission); Principal of the Central Party School.

From 2012-2013, he was a member of the Politburo, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee, Chairman of the Central Military Commission; Vice President of the People's Republic of China; Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission.

From 2013 to present, he has been a member of the Politburo Standing Committee, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee, Chairman of the Central Military Commission; President of the People's Republic of China; Chairman of the Central Military Commission (18th term from 2012-2017, 19th term from 2017-2022, 20th term from 2022-2027).

Comrade Xi Jinping is an alternate member of the 15th Central Committee; member of the Central Committee for the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20. and member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo for the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th terms.
