Chairman of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee presented the thẩm tra report on 2 drafts: Resolution of the National Assembly on the establishment of Dong Nai City directly under the Central Government; Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the institution of public lawyers.
The Minister of Public Security, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a report on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to handle violations of land law by organizations and individuals occurring before the 2024 Land Law takes effect and solutions to continue removing difficulties and obstacles for backlog and prolonged projects.
The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Finance Committee presented an appraisal report on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to handle violations of land law by organizations and individuals occurring before the 2024 Land Law takes effect and solutions to continue removing difficulties and obstacles for backlog and prolonged projects.
Also in the morning, the National Assembly will discuss in groups about the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of breakthrough mechanisms and policies for Vietnamese cultural development.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly discussed in the hall on supplementary assessment of the results of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2025; the situation of socio-economic development plan and state budget implementation in the first months of 2026.
5-year socio-economic development plan 2026-2030; work on practicing thrift and combating wastefulness in 2025; the situation of implementing the national target on gender equality in 2025.
After that, government members spoke to explain and clarify some issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
Previously (April 9), the National Assembly listened to Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang present a report on the 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2026-2030.
The report said that entering the 2026-2030 period, the Government believes that the world situation will continue to fluctuate rapidly, strongly and unpredictably.
To realize the goal and vision of development, overcoming the middle-income trap, the Government identifies the goal of rapid and sustainable national development, striving for GDP growth in 2026 and an average of 10% or more in 05 years 2026-2030 associated with maintaining macroeconomic stability;
GDP per capita by 2030 will reach 8,500 USD, 1.7 times higher than in 2025; maintain a peaceful and stable environment; improve all aspects of people's lives, so that people can enjoy all the fruits of development.
