Can Tho People's Council holds a thematic meeting, expected to approve the new land price list
Can Tho - The 8th session (Special session) of the 10th term of the City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held on December 30 - 31, is expected to approve the land price list for 2026.
Speaking at the opening session on the morning of December 30, Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Can Tho City - said that at this session, the City People's Council plans to pass many urgent resolutions, contributing to socio-economic development.
The Chairman of the People's Council of Can Tho City requested delegates to promote a high sense of responsibility, focus on careful research, democratic and objective discussions and vote to approve the draft resolution with high consensus and unity.

It is known that the Draft Resolution regulating the land price list in Can Tho City consists of 11 articles, with an appendix to the price list for the following types of land: perennial land; perennial land; price of salt-making land; rural residential land; urban residential land; industrial park land, industrial cluster; commercial and service land; non-agricultural production land; land in high-tech parks.

According to the People's Committee of Can Tho City, the issuance of the above Resolution aims to implement legal regulations, resolve practical issues arising in the process of arranging administrative units of Can Tho City and build a 2-level local government model, implemented synchronously with regulations on the division of authority of 02-level local authorities, decentralization and delegation in the field of land, ensuring synchronization and comprehensiveness in state management of land, meeting local management requirements, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of land users.
