Hai Phong regulates the level of Tet gifts for meritorious people and City Party Committee officials

Accordingly, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945, wives (or husbands) of revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945 who passed away and resided in the city received the highest Tet gift, VND 7,000,000/person.

The city will give Tet gifts of VND6 million/person to the following cases: Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation; Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, key leaders and senior leaders of the Party and State, Politburo member, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee working outside the city who have retired, resided and practiced the Party in the city.

Revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising; spouses (or husbands) of revolutionary activists from that time have passed away from the ceiling residing in the city; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, Professors, People's Teachers, People's Doctors, People's Artists, People's Artists who have retired (or have reached the retirement age according to regulations) residing in the city will also receive a Tet gift of 6 million VND.

Gift giving level of 4,000,000 VND/person for City Party Committee members, heads, deputy heads of advisory and assisting agencies, and public service units of the City Party Committee; Chanh Van phong, Pho Chanh Van phong UBND thanh pho; Department Director, Deputy Director of Department; Truong, Pho Ban Quan ly Khu Kinh te Hai Phong; Standing member of the City People's Council, heads and deputy heads of specialized committees of the City People's Council, Chief of Office, Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly delegation and the City People's Council; Pho Chu tich Uy ban MTTQ Viet Nam la Truong to chuc Chinh tri - xa hoi thanh pho; Heads and deputy heads of central vertical agencies and units in the city are retired and reside in the city; Bi thu Dang uy truc thuoc Thanh uy; cap truong cac hoi do Dang, Nha nuoc giao nhiem vu cap thanh pho; Bi thu Dang uy xa, phuong, dac khu; Giam doc cac ban quan ly dau tu xay dung thanh pho; Secretary, Deputy Secretary of district-level Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council, Chairman of district-level People's Committee retires before July 1, 2025, permanently residing in the city.

The gift level is 3,000,000 VND/person for members of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council, Chairman of the People's Committee of communes, wards, and special zones (according to the decentralization of cadre management and appointment and nomination of candidates) who retire and reside in the city, members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee; Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee who retire before July 1, 2025, permanent residents in the city.

Other official positions under the management of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee (according to the decentralization of personnel management and appointment and introduction of candidates not included in the above subjects) are retired and residing in the city; retirees holding positions outside the city but residing and working in the Party in the city will receive a Lunar New Year gift of VND 2,000,000/person.

People's Army officers, People's Public Security officers of major general or higher on retirement and Party activities in the city will receive a gift of VND 1,500,000/person.

The gift level of 1,000,000 VND/person for Party members awarded the Badge is from 65 years of Party membership to under 80 years of Party membership. Party members awarded the Badge from 55 years of Party membership to under 65 years of Party membership will receive a gift of VND 800,000/person for Tet. Party members awarded the Badge from 45 years of Party membership to under 55 years of Party membership receive a gift of 700,000 VND/ badge and Party members awarded the Badge from 30 years of Party membership to under 45 years of Party membership receive a gift of 600,000 VND/subject.

The city will pay a gift of 650,000 VND/person to officers working at the City Military Command and the City Police, including People's Army officers, People's Police officers holding the rank of retired colonel and Party activists in the city; People's Army officers, People's Police officers holding the rank of colonel, holding the position of Department Head and equivalent for permanent retirement and Party activities in the city (for cases of People's Army officers, People's Police officers holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and Party activists in the city from January 1, 2017, they must hold positions under the management of the City Party Committee Standing Committee and equivalent).

The Bach Dang and Trung Dung - Quyet Clubs won were given gifts of VND20,000/club. In case the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council, or the leaders of the City People's Committee visit and give gifts directly in addition to the above expenditure, they will be given gifts in kind of VND 1,000,000/case.
