Two 2026 Binh Ngo Tet gifts for people with meritorious services
President Luong Cuong has signed a decision on giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026.
On January 5, President Luong Cuong signed Decision No. 01/QD-CTN on giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026, including two gifts of 600,000 VND and 300,000 VND.
Accordingly, the President decided to give gifts worth 600,000 VND to people with revolutionary contributions, including:
Revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945 are receiving monthly preferential allowances; revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising are receiving monthly preferential allowances; Heroic Vietnamese Mothers are receiving monthly preferential allowances; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor during the resistance war are receiving monthly preferential allowances; war invalids, people enjoying policies such as war invalids, type B war invalids, sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 81% or more are receiving monthly preferential allowances; resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 81% or more are receiving monthly preferential allowances; people with meritorious services to the revolution are receiving monthly nutrition allowances.
Relatives of martyrs receiving monthly pension benefits; relatives of two or more martyrs receiving monthly pension benefits are also entitled to a gift of VND 600,000.
The gift of 300,000 VND is given to war invalids and people enjoying policies such as war invalids, type B war invalids, sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 80% or less who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; war invalids who are receiving unemployment benefits; resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 80% or less who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; people who are revolutionary, resistance fighters, national defense fighters, performing international duties and are being imprisoned or sold by the enemy and are receiving monthly preferential allowances; people with meritorious services to the revolution who are receiving monthly preferential allowances.
Representatives of martyrs' relatives and martyrs' worshipers (in cases where martyrs have no relatives) will receive a gift of 300,000 VND.
The funding source for giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 is arranged in the State budget plan for 2026.
