Hanoi reclaims land to expand space east of Hoan Kiem Lake

The Office of the City People's Committee has just issued a notice of the conclusion of Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh on the planning policy and renovation of the space area east of Hoan Kiem Lake.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee agreed to implement the research and renovation research in the eastern area of ​​Hoan Kiem Lake (with the research boundary proposed by the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District) in the direction of strengthening public space, open space, serving the people's community. This is the necessary task immediately.

The City People's Committee welcomed the support and consensus with the above policy of enterprises and units attending the meeting, with headquarters within the scope of public space planning to serve the community in the area east of Hoan Kiem Lake.

In order to shorten the time for planning research, to propose investment policies for public spatial projects in the eastern area of ​​Hoan Kiem Lake, implementing the site clearance, relocation of works, compensation, support, resettlement, land acquisition; The People's Committee of the City will create conditions and direct the city departments and branches to urgently support organizations, units and households located within the planning research boundary, investment projects in identifying areas of arrangement, rebuilding agencies, headquarters, allocating replacement working areas and resettlement projects (for households); support the implementation of relocation, resettlement and temporary residence as prescribed; support in the process of moving and implementing investment projects in a new location; ensure the operational conditions of agencies and businesses, stabilize the activities and lives of the people.

The City People's Committee requested the Vietnam Electricity Group, Northern Power Corporation, National Power Transmission Corporation, Hanoi Power Corporation to closely coordinate with the city's departments, branches, and Hoan Kiem District People's Committee to discuss, agree on solutions and methods to resolve and handle related work, ensuring smoothness in the fastest time (from the stages of investment preparation, equipment investment, facilities, etc.), ensuring the management and operation of the power supply system is stable and continuous.

Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan to specifically direct and decide to establish a working group to implement the contents, speed up the progress of the planning and investment project for public space in the area east of Hoan Kiem Lake.

At the same time, direct the city's departments and branches to coordinate with relevant agencies, organizations and units in the process of surveying, researching and proposing replacement, resettlement and temporary residence locations; developing support plans and solutions to create the best conditions for organizations, agencies, units and people in affected areas.
