Expected to have a highway worth nearly VND 12,000 billion through Bac Ninh
Bac Ninh - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on the investment plan for the Noi Bai - Bac Ninh - Chi Linh expressway.
The official dispatch sent to Vietnam Expressway Corporation said that recently, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province held a working session with Vietnam Expressway Corporation to consider the investment plan for the Noi Bai - Bac Ninh - Chi Linh Expressway.
Attending the working session on the side of Bac Ninh province were the Departments of Construction, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, the Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board of Bac Ninh province No. 1, 2, Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards: Yen Phong, Vo Cuong, Bong Lai, Phuong Lieu, Dao Vien, Phu Lang, Dong Viet.
After listening to the report of the Vietnam Expressway Corporation on the investment plan for the Noi Bai - Bac Ninh - Chi Linh Expressway, the participants were present to discuss related contents, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province agreed with the Vietnam Expressway Corporation on some of the following contents:
Agree to let Vietnam Expressway Corporation study the investment plan for the Noi Bai - Bac Ninh - Chi Linh Expressway.
Requesting the Vietnam Expressway Corporation to receive the opinions of delegates at the meeting; continue to proactively coordinate with provincial departments and localities with routes to study in detail the investment plan for the expressway to ensure feasibility, efficiency, promote socio-economic development of the locality and the region; at the same time, ensure the harmony of interests between people, state and businesses.
Previously, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province had issued a document recommending the Prime Minister to allow investment in the construction of the Bac Ninh - Pha Lai expressway, the section from Ring Road 4 to National Highway 18 under the form of public investment.
Based on existing transport infrastructure and regulations, Vietnam Expressway Corporation proposes to invest in the Noi Bai - Bac Ninh - Pha Lai Expressway under the PPP (public-private partnership) method.
Accordingly, Vietnam Expressway Corporation plans a number of project implementation options, the most feasible of which is the state budget supporting site clearance and construction of parallel roads; Vietnam Expressway Corporation mobilizes capital to invest in the construction of expressways under the PPP form.
The total estimated investment is VND 11,964 billion.
