Dak Lak ethnic minorities send their hopes to the 14th National Party Congress
Dak Lak - Ethnic minorities in the province have expressed their high expectations for the 14th National Party Congress.
Dak Lak is a province with diversity in ethnic and religious groups, with the proportion of ethnic minorities accounting for over 25.06% of the population ( out of a total of more than 3.3 million people). Some ethnic groups with a large population include: E De (427,736 people, accounting for 12.93%), Nung (90,971 people, 2.75%), Tay (66,645 people, 2.02%), M' Nong (56,485 people, 1.71%)...
In the atmosphere of the whole country towards the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, ethnic minorities in Dak Lak have expressed high expectations for strategic decisions.
In particular, I hope that the Party and State will continue to care for, care for, and improve the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities in the locality.
Ms. H' Phi La Nie (working at the Party Committee of Dlie Ya commune, Dak Lak province) said that the biggest expectation of ethnic minorities is that the Party and the State continue to pay attention to and issue practical policies and guidelines to develop the socio-economy of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
"In recent years, many national target programs, policies to support production, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and build new rural areas have created clear changes in villages and hamlets in Dak Lak province" - Ms. H' Phi La Nie added.

However, reality shows that the lives of a part of the people are still difficult; the rate of poor households in remote areas is still high, and livelihoods are not really sustainable.
Local people hope that the 14th National Party Congress will continue to clearly identify the development of ethnic minority areas as a long-term strategic task. In particular, prioritizing resources for infrastructure investment, supporting livelihood conversion, agricultural development, helping people "set up a business" in their homeland.
"Many village elders and prestigious people hope that the Party will have more policies to support ethnic minority children to study in a better environment, reducing the situation of students dropping out of school. At the same time, focus on training ethnic minority cadres, especially young cadres and female cadres," Ms. H' Phi La Nie added.
Another important expectation of the people is to preserve, conserve and promote the traditional cultural identity of ethnic minorities.

Mr. Ksor Quy (former Secretary of the Party Committee of the former Ea Sol commune) commented that Dak Lak is a land rich in identity with the cultural space of the Central Highlands gongs, traditional festivals, epics, legends and unique folk cultural treasures.
People hope that the 14th National Party Congress will continue to have major orientations to link cultural preservation with sustainable tourism development. Thereby, creating new livelihoods for people, while preserving core cultural values against the impact of integration and development.
In the 2021-2025 period, Dak Lak was allocated VND6,837 billion from the central budget to implement 3 national target programs (development investment capital of more than VND4,161 billion, career capital of more than VND2,676 billion).
In addition, the province has proactively balanced and arranged local budget resources to match more than 1,688 billion VND. This huge resource has created clear changes for rural areas and ethnic minority areas that are particularly disadvantaged in the area.
In 2025 alone, in project 4, under the National Target Program of 1719, the province has allocated over 1,340 billion VND to invest in the construction of 157 new works and the maintenance of 174 essential infrastructure works.
