Dak Lak - The provincial authorities have increased security in border areas, contributing to serving the 14th National Congress of the Party.

On January 17, the Standing Office of the Dak Lak Provincial Steering Committee for Counter-terrorism informed that the unit had just coordinated with the Department of Internal Security (Provincial Police) to inspect and guide the work of preventing and combating terrorism at the police of 4 border communes including Ia R've, Ia Lap, Ea Bung and Buon Don.

Major Le Tien Dat, Head of Ia Lap Commune Police, said that before the 14th National Congress of the young people, the unit regularly coordinated with local authorities to propagate and educate people about the plots and tricks of hostile forces, especially in ethnic minority areas and areas along the border.

The unit also effectively organized patrolling, controlling the area, strictly managing activities crossing the border area; early identification of risks, proactive prevention and timely handling of arising situations, not being passive or surprised.

According to Major Dat, proactively preventing, combating and early identifying risks helps the grassroots police force stay close to the area, maintain security and order in the border area during major events of the Party and State.

At the border commune police station, the Internal Security Department (Provincial Police) pointed out a number of shortcomings and problems that units need to overcome to improve the effectiveness of anti-terrorism work.

At the same time, it is recommended that in the coming time, units continue to strengthen the dissemination of the Law on Anti-terrorism; identify the work of preventing and combating terrorism as a regular and continuous task, taking prevention as the main task; strengthen coordination, information exchange, grasp the situation related to the work of preventing and combating terrorism.
