Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung highly appreciated Dak Lak's efforts to overcome the consequences of natural disasters

On the afternoon of January 12, a Government working delegation led by Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister - visited and worked in the eastern area of Dak Lak province.

The working delegation included leaders of central ministries and branches, including: Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, Military Region 5 Command and Government Office.

In Hoa Thinh commune, the working delegation visited, congratulated and presented gifts to 10 households in Phu Huu village whose houses were collapsed and severely damaged during the recent floods. These households have now been supported by the authorities to build and repair houses and gradually stabilize their housing.

Speaking at the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung highly appreciated the efforts of Dak Lak province in implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign". In particular, the locality has proactively mobilized and effectively integrated resources to promptly support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, build and repair houses.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this is an act of profound humanitarian significance, clearly demonstrating the spirit of "taking the people as the root". Request Dak Lak province to continue promoting the achieved results, focusing highly, and determined to complete the construction and repair of houses for people before January 15. At the same time, consider this a project of special significance, contributing to stabilizing people's lives.
