Change the name of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group from April 9
From April 9, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group officially changed its name to the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.
On April 9, Party Central Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc signed Decision No. 733/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on renaming the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group to the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.
The decision clearly states that it agrees to change the name of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group according to the group's proposal, specifically as follows:
Full name: Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.
Types of enterprises: One-member limited liability company.
Transaction name: Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.
International trading name: Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.
short name: PETROVIETNAM, abbreviated as PVN.
Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) inherits all rights, obligations and responsibilities of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group according to the provisions of the Oil and Gas Law 2022 and current legal documents; agreements, papers, agreements and contracts signed with relevant parties according to the provisions of law.
The above decision takes effect from April 9, 2025.
