Congratulatory news, congratulatory letter to General Secretary To Lam
On the occasion of comrade To Lam being re-elected as General Secretary of the 14th Communist Party of Vietnam, leaders of countries and international organizations continue to send congratulatory messages and congratulatory letters.
General Secretary of the North Korean Labor Party, President of the State of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un, President of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Mahmoud Abbas, ASEAN Secretary General Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary General of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Chem Widhya sent congratulatory messages and letters to General Secretary To Lam.
1. General Secretary of the North Korean Labor Party and President of the State of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un emphasized that General Secretary To Lam continues to shoulder the responsibility of demonstrating the high trust of all members of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnam People's Union in Comrade To Lam, who has always strived for the development of the Communist Party and constantly strived to improve the lives of Vietnamese people.
General Secretary Kim Jong Un expressed his confidence that the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, under the leadership of General Secretary To Lam, will successfully implement the Resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress.
On this occasion, General Secretary Kim Jong Un wished the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and the two countries of Vietnam and North Korea to continue to develop substantially and effectively in all fields, in line with the spirit of the cooperation agreements stated at the Vietnam - North Korea Summit in October 2025.
2. President of the State of Palestine and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Mahmoud Abbas emphasized that General Secretary To Lam's re-election as General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam reflects the great trust and highest respect that the Party Committee and People of Vietnam have for his leadership capacity and political intelligence.
President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated the brilliant success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and affirmed that the decisions and orientations approved by the Congress will certainly continue to promote the progress, development and prosperity that the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has achieved.
The President expressed his pride in the historic friendship that unites the people and two countries, and hoped that through close coordination with General Secretary To Lam and the new leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the two sides would continue to strive to strengthen the friendship and bilateral cooperation in many fields, for the benefit of the people of the two countries and for the values of peace, justice and development.
3. In the congratulatory letter, ASEAN Secretary General Kao Kim Hourn highly appreciated Vietnam's important role and contribution to peace, security and prosperity in the region; expressed his confidence that "under the wise leadership of the General Secretary, Vietnam will continue to make important contributions to the process of building the Community and ASEAN connectivity, thereby jointly realizing the common aspirations set forth by "ASEAN Vision 2045: Our common future". The ASEAN Secretary General affirmed that the Secretariat is ready to support and assist Vietnam as well as other member countries in promoting the agreed goals and aspirations.
4. Secretary General of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Chem Widhya highly appreciated the great results of the 14th Congress, including the reaffirmation of strategic development goals, emphasizing the priority of institutional reform and innovation of the parliament's activities, as well as orienting socio-economic transformation towards increasingly sustainable development, believing that these results will create a solid foundation for Vietnam to continue to develop further.
General Secretary Chem Widhya expressed his confidence that "under the wise leadership of General Secretary To Lam, Vietnam will continue to promote the fruits of the Doi Moi process, firmly on the path to realizing the development vision 2045, while continuing to play a key and proactive role in promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the region". The AIPA Secretary General hopes that The AIPA Secretariat will continue to cooperate closely with Vietnam to elevate cooperation for friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding, as well as realize the aspiration for a peaceful, prosperous ASEAN with the people as the center.
