Proposal not to assign new tasks to district-level leaders who have not completed their tasks

On April 12, the Office of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced the conclusion of the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Province at the regular meeting in March 2025.

According to the assessment, along with the task of streamlining the organizational apparatus, socio-economic development tasks continue to be focused on and implemented quite synchronously, basically closely following the economic growth scenario for 2025 set by the province.

However, in the first quarter of 2025, economic growth (GRDP) only reached 6.72%, lower than the set target and lower than the national growth rate.

In April 2025, agencies, units and localities in Khanh Hoa will continue to focus highly, both performing well the task of reorganizing the apparatus, reorganizing administrative units at all levels, and effectively implementing the task of socio-economic development; closely following the provincial economic growth scenario, striving to complete the growth target for the first 6 months of the year and the growth target for 2025 of 10% or more.

Chairman of Khanh Hoa province Nguyen Tan Tuan directed agencies and units to urgently develop plans and projects to reorganize administrative units according to the 2-level local government model (catching the plan on personnel, finance, public assets, administrative boundaries, etc.) under the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committee; ensuring that the new apparatus operates effectively and efficiently.

Localities urgently review and complete assigned tasks and tasks under the authority of district level, not leaving tasks behind when the 2-level local government organization model comes into operation.

In particular, completing site clearance, supporting resettlement to serve the construction of works and projects in management areas, national key areas, and provinces; completing acceptance and settlement of projects and works that have been put into operation and use before the new administrative apparatus comes into operation.

Chairman of Khanh Hoa province Nguyen Tan Tuan said that he will propose to the competent authority to consider and not assign new tasks to the leaders of the district-level People's Committees who have not completed the above tasks.
