Promoting exchanges between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Government of China
Many exchange activities between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Government of China have been promoted in recent times, further enhancing the friendship between the two organizations and the two peoples.
From April 21 to 25, 2025, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi, China, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in coordination with the National Government of China will organize the Friendship Exchange Program between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Government of China and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Vietnam's 7 provinces and the two provinces/ thing thingybodies of Guangxi Zhuang and Yunnan province to share the third border.
The organization of this Friendship Exchange is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (18.1.1950 - 18.1.2025) and the Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange Year. The success of this activity will contribute positively to concretizing and implementing the common perception between senior leaders of the two Parties and the two States, continuing to deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship, promoting the building of a community of sharing the future of Vietnam - China with strategic significance.
With the active development of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries, in recent times, the cooperative relationship between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Party Committee of China has increasingly developed in substance and effectively. In recent times, the two organizations have proactively maintained cooperative relations and agreed on cooperation contents. A typical example is the meeting and discussion between Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien and Politburo member, National Political Commissar of China Vuong Ho Ninh on the occasion of participating in the State Party Delegation of the high-ranking delegation led by General Secretary and President To Lam on an official visit to the People's Republic of China from August 18 to 20, 2024.
From July 18 to 21, 2023, Party Central Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien led the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to a successful visit and work in China at the invitation of Politburo member and Chairman of the National Political Commissar of China Vuong Ho Ninh. The visit aims to continue implementing the important common perception reached between the top leaders of the two Parties and States on promoting the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China in general and promoting the cooperative relationship between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Political Commissar of China in particular.
In November 2023, the two sides successfully coordinated to organize a Friendship Exchange between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Government of China and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of 7 provinces of Vietnam with the Government of 2 autonomous regions of China sharing the border in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam.
As affirmed by Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, the success of the Second Friendship Exchange Program between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the entire People's Government of China is an opportunity for the two sides to better enhance the role of enhancing the cooperative exchange relationship not only between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Government of China at the central level but also in agencies and localities, especially border localities, promoting people-to-people exchanges and the younger generations of the two countries; continuing the tradition of Vietnam - China friendship; at the same time, paying attention to promoting substantive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides, especially in the fields of economy - trade, investment, connecting transportation, cultural cooperation, tourism, training and many other fields.
Following that success, the friendly exchange between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Government of China and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of 7 provinces of Vietnam with the Government of the 2nd Government of the Guangxi Zhuang ethnic autonomous Region and Yunnan province shared a third border.
Within the framework of the Friendship Exchange Program in China, delegates from the two countries will attend the opening ceremony; attend the Conference on exchanging experiences on Front/Committees' work (with contents such as: supervision and social criticism work; participation in Party and government building; promoting the people's mastery; campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; strengthening the close relationship between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Government of provinces sharing borders...); evaluate and summarize the cooperation results between the Front and the Government of provinces sharing borders of the two countries after the second Friendship Exchange held in Vietnam in November 2023...
Through this friendly exchange activities, the two sides will enhance friendship exchanges and strengthen cooperation in various fields, promote the implementation of high-level common perceptions, and make the relationship between Vietnam and China continuously develop stably, healthily and sustainably in the coming time.
The Exchange Program is also an opportunity for the two organizations to share experiences and lessons in the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese Premier League, thereby contributing to improving mutual understanding as well as the quality and effectiveness of each side's work, sincerely fostering and beautifying the friendship between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese Premier League and the people of the two countries. This will be the basis and premise for continuing to organize the Friendship Exchange Program between the two organizations in the following years.
