Da Nang immediately implements gift giving to people on the occasion of the 14th Congress and Tet 2026

The program targets people with revolutionary contributions, social protection beneficiaries, social retirees and other vulnerable groups, ensuring timely and appropriate care for the beneficiaries.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Mr. Ho Ky Minh, signed an official dispatch directing departments, branches and localities to coordinate in organizing implementation. The requirement is to implement synchronously, accurately, and conveniently in the process of making a list, paying, and supervising, avoiding errors and duplication, ensuring the rights of beneficiaries.

According to the assignment, the Department of Home Affairs is responsible for synthesizing the number of people with revolutionary contributions. The Department of Health provides a list of social protection and social pension beneficiaries, including orphans, homeless people and cases being supported according to regulations. The provision of data must be complete and timely to serve as a basis for policy implementation.

The City Police provide a list of meritorious people, social protection beneficiaries and social pensioners who have accounts via VNeID to the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones. This is an important basis to facilitate payments, reduce administrative procedures, increase transparency and limit the occurrence of problems in the implementation process.

The City Police also coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Health, the Department of Finance and the State Treasury to agree on payment methods. On that basis, provide specific instructions to the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to organize the implementation of gift-giving policies of the Party and State, ensuring correct procedures and deadlines.

Regarding resources, the Department of Finance shall have additional central budget targets and the number of subjects provided by the departments to advise the City People's Committee on allocating funds to agencies, units and localities. The allocation is required to be implemented strictly, for the right purpose, without shortages or delays.

The People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones are responsible for coordinating with relevant departments, branches and units to organize gift giving to ensure simplicity, convenience and timeliness. The consistent goal is to make each gift reach the right person, the right policy, contributing to spreading humanistic meaning, creating a warm and united atmosphere on the occasion of welcoming the 14th National Party Congress and the Lunar New Year 2026.
