"The weather is in late spring, the vitality is bustling. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, at the invitation of Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Comrade Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, I will pay a state visit to Vietnam.

This is the fourth time I have set foot in this beautiful land since taking on the position of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China. I hope to join the Vietnamese leaders in sharing friendship, discussing cooperation, and giving a new vision for building a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future of strategic significance in the new era.

China and Vietnam are two socialist friendly neighbors, sharing the same ideals and beliefs, and sharing widely strategic benefits. During the process of exploring the socialist path suitable for the situation of each country as well as the process of promoting modernization, the deep friendship between the two Parties, two countries and peoples of the two countries has continuously been flourished and brought to new heights.

The construction of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future has strategic significance, in line with the common interests of the two countries, beneficial to stable peace and prosperous development in the region and the world, and is the choice of history and the choice of the people.

The China-Vietnam community of sharing the future has strategic significance inherited from the "red gene source". The revolutionary predecessors of the two countries have joined hands to explore the path to save the country and develop it, contributing significantly to the victory in the struggle against colonialism and socialism in the world.

Revolutionary relics such as the Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Committee in Guangzhou, the "Vietnamese" Politburo relic in Guangxi, China, are all historical evidences of the China-Vietnam revolutionary friendship.

When the Chinese people fought against Japan, President Ho Chi Minh participated in and supported China in its fight and participated in activities in places such as Dien An, Chongqing, Kunming, Que Lam etc. On the Chinese side, a military advisory team and a political advisory team were sent to help the Vietnamese people fight against France.

China has been Vietnam's largest trading partner for more than 20 consecutive years, with two-way trade turnover in 2024 exceeding 260 billion USD. More and more high-quality agricultural products of Vietnam such as durian and coconut have reached the majority of Chinese families.

China will maintain the inheritance and stability of its neighborly diplomacy, persistently uphold the concept of "Friendship with neighbor, partnering with neighbor", deepening friendly cooperation with neighboring countries, and jointly promoting the modernization process of Asia.

China is ready to work with Vietnam to promote cooperation in the project of 3 standard gauge railway lines in northern Vietnam, building smart border gates.

China welcomes more high-quality goods from Vietnam to be exported to the Chinese market, encouraging more and more Chinese enterprises to invest in Vietnam.

The two sides need to strengthen cooperation in production and supply chains, expand cooperation in emerging fields such as 5G, artificial intelligence, green development, etc., bringing more benefits to the people of the two countries,

- Enhance humane exchanges, strengthen connections between people. Taking the opportunity of the "China - Vietnam Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025" as an opportunity to deploy rich and diverse humanitarian exchanges. China welcomes Vietnamese people to regularly visit Chinese localities, and also encourages Chinese tourists to "check in" with Vietnam's scenic spots.

It is necessary to strengthen coordination in mechanisms such as East Asia Cooperation, Mekong-Mekong Cooperation, etc. to create more and more stability and positive energy for the current volatile world.

The successful practices of land demarcation and Gulf of Tonkin division between China and Vietnam have proven that the two sides have the ability and intelligence to resolve problems at sea well through trade negotiations.
