Comrade Le Minh Tri: During the 13th Party Congress, the work of preventing corruption, waste and negativity under the leadership of the Party, directly the Politburo and the Central Steering Committee on preventing corruption, waste and negativity led by the General Secretary, continued to be led and directed resolutely, persistently, comprehensively and methodically, with major breakthroughs, achieving many important results.
Corruption, waste and negativity have been gradually controlled, prevented and pushed back, contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong Party and political system. It can be seen that the fight against corruption, waste and negativity has been trusted and supported by the people and has become a strong movement; so far, not only at the central level but many localities have also done well.
Discipline and order within the Party and control of power have been increasingly strengthened, and criminal proceedings have been handled synchronously in terms of Party discipline, State administrative discipline, and criminal proceedings. Comrade Le Minh Tri: In the coming time, the work of preventing corruption, waste and negativity must achieve the goals and requirements set by the 14th National Congress, first of all, continue to strengthen the direct and comprehensive leadership of the Party, promote the role and responsibility of Party committees, organizations and heads at all levels and sectors; maintain discipline and order, ensure strict handling, humanity and persuasion and must meet the most important requirements, which are to serve socio-economic development, ensure double-digit growth of the economy in the coming years.
To do that, the work of preventing corruption, waste and negativity must continue to innovate thinking, awareness, thinking and working methods; must be associated with continuing to improve institutions and the legal system to ensure consistency, synchronization, closeness to reality and requirements of Resolution No. 66 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement and must focus on researching and identifying specific conditions and criteria, methods to effectively implement the viewpoints and requirements of Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development to promote this huge resource for socio-economic development and national development in the new era. Focus on removing difficulties and obstacles, especially investment projects related to land to unlock resources. It is necessary to promptly close loopholes and loopholes in legal regulations, not let bad people take advantage of or corrupt and promptly amend and supplement legal regulations that cause practical obstacles or are not feasible, remove bottlenecks in the economic structure to create a legal corridor and momentum for rapid and sustainable national development.
