Announcing the establishment of commune-level health stations in Quang Ninh
Quang Ninh - After the Department of Health transferred the health stations to management facilities, communes, wards and special zones in Quang Ninh began to announce the establishment of health stations.
On the morning of January 6, Ha Long ward held a conference to announce the decision to establish the ward Health Station and personnel work.
Ha Long Ward Health Station is a public service unit under the People's Committee of Ha Long Ward, with the function of providing and performing professional and technical services in the fields of: disease prevention; medical examination and treatment; management and improvement of public health; protection and care of mothers and children; care for the elderly and disabled; social protection; population; food safety; pharmacy; medical equipment and other medical services according to the provisions of law.
Also at the conference, the Ha Long Ward Party Committee announced the Decisions on receiving, assigning and appointing officials for the Ha Long Ward Health Station.
Previously, on January 5, Uong Bi Ward held a conference to announce the decision on the establishment of Uong Bi Ward Health Station and personnel work.
Accordingly, the Ward Health Station is under the direct direction and management of the People's Committee of Uong Bi Ward on the organization of the apparatus, human resources, finance, and assets; at the same time, it is under the guidance and inspection of the Department of Health and related specialized agencies.
Cam Pha Ward has also just announced the decision to establish Cam Pha Ward Health Station, a public service unit, with legal status, its own seal and account, under the People's Committee of Cam Pha Ward.
Thus, after the Quang Ninh Department of Health held a ceremony to hand over 55 health stations from the Department of Health to the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones under management on December 31, 2025, communes, wards and special zones have simultaneously established health stations.
According to Decision No. 5006/QD-UBND (December 30, 2025) of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, from January 1, 2026, all 55 health stations and 92 health stations in communes, wards and special zones in the province will be handed over to the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones for management by the Department of Health.
The content of the handover includes: Civil servant positions assigned in 2025, the number of existing civil servants and contract workers, finance, assets, records, documents and related contents in accordance with regulations and management decentralization.
After receiving them, the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones are responsible for directly and comprehensively managing health stations in the area, ensuring stable and effective operating conditions; at the same time, closely coordinating with the health sector in professional work, preventive medicine, disease prevention and control and implementing health programs in the area.
The Department of Health continues to perform the function of professional management, professional guidance, technical supervision; at the same time, coordinate with localities in training, human resource development, implementation of health programs and investment in facilities and equipment to improve the quality of primary health care for the people.
