Quang Trung campaign does not create achievements, but brings warmth to the people

On January 16, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference to summarize the "Quang Trung Campaign" of rapid reconstruction and repair of houses for households whose houses were damaged by natural disasters, storms and floods in the Central region.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that although the "Quang Trung Campaign" had no gunshots, it was "fast-paced, fast-paced", not only "victory" but also "brutal victory".

Heads of media and press agencies have actively directed agencies to get involved, promptly update and report on the campaign, create motivation, inspire, encourage and motivate the whole society to enthusiastically compete to complete the campaign.

According to the Prime Minister, witnessing the joy and emotion from the eyes and smiles of the people living in new, solid and sturdy roofs can affirm the very important, humane and profound meanings of the Quang Trung Campaign.

Accordingly, this is not only a simple political task but also an obligation and responsibility of the Party, the State, all levels and sectors towards the people in disaster and flood areas; it is both an " Administrative order" but also an "ordering from the heart", a clear-minded responsibility to the community of leaders at all levels, of compatriots and comrades.

Each house is a warm home of love, a milestone of revival, not only built with reinforced concrete, bricks, tiles, sand, gravel... but also with the love, care and sharing of the whole society with people in difficulty.

It is a vivid testament to the good and superior nature of our regime, "national love, compatriotism", the spirit of mutual love, the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves, the village-neighborhood love, the army-people love, leaving no one behind.

The completion of repairing and rebuilding houses for people affected by natural disasters and floods in the Central region is only the initial result, laying the first bricks to stabilize people's lives after natural disasters and floods.

The Prime Minister requested localities to complete the handover of houses to households in a complete manner, no later than January 18, 2026, before the opening of the 14th National Party Congress; continue to pay attention to handling environmental issues, overcoming essential infrastructure, especially transportation, irrigation, healthcare, and education.

Localities are interested in supporting job creation and livelihoods for people, especially supporting people to restore production and business, especially agricultural production.

The head of the Government stated that today, a peaceful life has been revived for the villages that were once surrounded by storms and floods and devastated by natural disasters. Tens of thousands of families are enjoying joy, excitement, happiness mixed with emotion and pride in new, sturdy houses.

From the rubble, spacious, solid houses have been built; today's tears are not of pain, bitterness at losing a home but of tears of joy, love, happiness and sharing.

The hands held tightly during the moment of farewell to the people of the soldiers ended the Quang Trung Thu Dieu Rapid Campaign, but it was also at that moment that a bright future was opened.

"The rapid campaign is not to create achievements, but a daily, hourly race to bring warmth to the people during Tet meals, joy and happiness in settling down, making a living, bringing laughter and joy to children under solid shelters", the Prime Minister concluded.
