Commander of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command promoted to the rank of Major General

On January 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions to confer military ranks to generals to military officers in a number of provinces and cities across the country.

The ceremony was held solemnly, in accordance with the procedures of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Minister of National Defense presented the decision to confer the rank of Major General to Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, Commander of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense acknowledged and highly appreciated the work, training and efforts of the comrades who were conferred the rank of general.

General Phan Van Giang requested to continue to maintain political courage, uphold a sense of responsibility, focus on leadership and direction in effectively implementing local national defense and military tasks, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety.

According to the Military Command of Lam Dong province, in this period, only comrade Dinh Hong Tieng of Military Region 7 was promoted to the rank of Major General.

The conferment of military ranks is a recognition by the Party, State and Army for the contributions of individual comrades; at the same time, it shows the concern in building a team of military cadres with qualities, abilities and prestige, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Major General Dinh Hong Tieng was born in 1975, from Da Nang City; currently a member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Military Command of Lam Dong Province.

Previously, he held the position of Commander of the Military Command of Dak Nong province (old).
