At the ceremony, authorized by the President, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Minister of National Defense presented the decision to confer the rank of Major General to Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, Commander of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense acknowledged and highly appreciated the work, training and efforts of the comrades who were conferred the rank of general.
