Appointment of 124 Commanders of the Military Commands of communes, wards and special zones in Lam Dong
Lam Dong - The Provincial Military Command announced the decision to reorganize the Commune-level Military Command, and awarded the decision to appoint the Commander of 124 communes, wards, and special zones.
On January 15, the Military Command of Lam Dong province held a conference to announce the decision of the Ministry of National Defense on reorganizing the Commune-level Military Command.
At the same time, the decision on the transfer and appointment of cadres to hold positions at the Military Commands of communes, wards and special zones was handed over.

The conference was attended by Colonel Nguyen Tan Linh - Deputy Commander of Military Region 7; Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Thanh Ha Nie K dam; Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi and leaders of departments, branches and localities.
At the conference, the Provincial Military Command announced the decisions of the Minister of National Defense and the General Staff on reorganizing and issuing a table of the staffing of the Military Command of communes, wards and special zones under the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command.

At the same time, the decision to mobilize and appoint 124 officers to hold the position of Commander of the Military Command in 124 communes, wards and special zones in the whole province was announced.
Along with that, nearly 500 officers and professional soldiers were mobilized and appointed to the positions of Deputy Commander, Deputy Political Commissar, Assistant, and employee at the Military Commands of communes, wards, and special zones.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng - Commander of the Military Command of Lam Dong province affirmed that the reorganization of the Commune-level Military Command is a major policy, demonstrating the strategic vision of the Party, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, in line with the model of local government at two levels.

This contributes to streamlining the organization, unifying commands, and at the same time promoting the core role of the military force in the political system at the grassroots level.
Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng requested the officers transferred and appointed to new positions to maintain political courage, overcome difficulties, constantly study, practice, and improve their qualifications and working capacity.

Thereby, doing a good job of advising local Party committees and authorities in leading and directing the implementation of local national defense and military tasks; focusing on Party building and improving the quality of training for militia and self-defense forces.
Along with that, strengthen coordination with the police force and other forces at the grassroots level, proactively grasp the situation, promptly handle arising situations, avoid being passive or surprised.

In the immediate future, cadres mobilized and appointed to the Commune-level Military Command need to quickly approach the area, organize reception, handover of work, stabilize their place of residence, living and working.
The cadres need to review and adjust the system of documents and combat readiness plans; build militia and self-defense forces in accordance with regulations, and fully prepare for the training mission in 2026.
At the same time, it has done a good job of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, handing over soldiers and managing demobilized soldiers to return to their localities.
