Ha Tinh - The representative of the investor of the North - South expressway component projects through Ha Tinh affirmed that they will ensure construction progress to open the main route on April 28.

On the afternoon of April 15, Mr. Nguyen Khac Trung - Director of the North - South Expressway Project Management Board, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section - said that currently, the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section has completed more than 90% of the construction volume.

"Construction work is still being focused on with the highest effort on overtime, increasing shifts, and working through the night to speed up progress. We affirm that we will ensure completion in time for the main route to open on April 28", Mr. Trung shared.

Mr. Hoang Chien Thang - Director of the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway Project Management Board - informed that the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway section has reached more than 90% of the construction volume.

Mr. Thang affirmed that the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section will be technically opened to traffic on April 19 and will ensure the opening of the main route on April 28 under the direction of the Ministry of Construction and the Government.

According to Mr. Thang, in recent days, contractors have focused on speeding up construction progress, working all night to strive to complete construction and open the main route on time according to the direction of superiors.

The North - South Eastern Expressway Project in the 2021 - 2025 period through Ha Tinh has a total length of more than 102km with 3 component projects: Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang and Vung Ang - Bung. Of which, the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section is 35.28km long, worth VND6,044 billion, constructed by a consortium of contractors including Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex) and the Ministry of National Defense's 319 Corporation.

The Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section is over 54km long, with a total investment of VND9,734 billion, constructed by a consortium of contractors: Tu Lap Construction Company Limited, Xuan Truong Construction Company, Joint Stock Company 471, Construction Joint Stock Company 368.

The Vung Ang (Ha Tinh) - Bung (Quang Binh) section is over 50km long, of which the section through Ha Tinh is 12.9km long.
