Can Tho supports the highest vocational training cost of nearly 6 million VND/person

Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 134 approving 115 job categories and cost norms for supporting elementary vocational training and continuing training (under 3 months) for workers in the area, period 2026 - 2030.

According to the Decision, the approved list of occupations includes the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors. In the agricultural sector, training occupations focus on animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, aquaculture, aquaculture, safe vegetable growing, fruit growing, mushroom growing, rice growing, ornamental flowers, etc.

For the non-agricultural sector, including the following industries: engineering - technology, mechanics, electricity - refrigeration, garment, food processing, tourism services, restaurants, hotels, information technology, graphic design, communications, performing arts, equipment operation, automobile repair, construction motorbikes, handicrafts weaving, etc.

The Decision also clearly stipulates the scope of regulation; subjects, principles, support conditions; level of training cost support, level of food and travel allowance support, planning and organizing orders, assigning training tasks, implementing training support policies for learners in accordance with current legal regulations.

Accordingly, the highest support level for people with disabilities is 5,996,000 VND/person/course depending on the field, qualifications, time and training program.

People from poor ethnic minority households; people from poor households in communes, villages and hamlets with special difficulties have the highest support level of up to VND 3,994,000/person/current depending on the field, qualifications, time and training program.

Ethnic minorities and those eligible for preferential policies for people with revolutionary contributions according to the provisions of the Ordinance on preferential treatment for people with revolutionary contributions, people from poor households according to the provisions of the Prime Minister, people from households whose agricultural land and business land are recovered, the highest support level is VND 2,997,000/person/current depending on the field, level of qualifications, time and training program.

People in near-poor households have the highest support level of VND 2,494,000/person/current depending on the field, qualifications, time and training program.

People with other subjects have the highest support level of 2,000,000 VND/person/course depending on the field, qualifications, time and training program.

Support contents include class organization costs, teacher remuneration, practice materials, equipment rental, classroom management and other legal expenses according to regulations.
