Company with more than 17,000 employees in Can Tho gives gifts for Lunar New Year

TKG Taekwang Can Tho Co., Ltd. currently has more than 17,000 employees. The gift recipients are union members and employees who have joined the company from December 10, 2025 onwards and will still work until the gift giving day.

In this period, each employee will receive 1 ST25 bag of rice. The other necessities in the gift will continue to be given away on January 21 and 22. These gifts are to contribute to the joy and warmth of employees during Tet.

Previously, on December 29, 2025, the company's Board of Directors announced the Lunar New Year holiday schedule, Tet bonuses and adjusted salary increases, allowances, and subsidies in 2026 to all employees.

According to the announcement, employees at the company will have 9 days off for the Lunar New Year, from February 14, 2026 to February 22, 2026. On February 23, 2026, all employees returned to work normally.

The highest Lunar New Year bonus for employees is 150%. The salary based on the bonus calculation is the new basic salary effective from January 1, 2026 and the production support allowance in January 2026.

The unit also gives additional bonuses and incentives to employees working as sales staff. Specifically, in 2025, employees who have received a full bonus for 12 months will be rewarded with an additional VND 250,000 and receive the same Tet bonus in 2026.

The company also adjusted the salary and allowances for employees in 2026. For the increase in regional minimum wage in 2026, from January 1, 2026, the basic salary will be adjusted to increase by VND320,000 (for workers who start working before January 1, 2026). The starting salary for new employees in 2026 is 5,062,000 VND (after 6 days of probation).

For the annual salary increase in 2026, the unit will increase the basic salary by 3% for employees who have started working before January 1, 2026 (effective from January 1, 2026). In particular, for employees who are still on probation, they will receive a 3% increase in basic salary after the probationary period is finalized.

In order to share difficulties with employees and encourage long-term working commitments, from January 1, 2026, when employees have 1 year of work, the seniority allowance will be kept at VND 30,000/year. From the second year of work onwards, seniority allowances will be adjusted to VND30,000 for each year of work, replacing the previous regulation of increasing by VND15,000/year. The housing allowance has also been adjusted to increase by 50,000 VND/month.
